Earlier this week I was in Vancouver for an undergraduate research conference via my summer work.
This first round of photos is from my cell phone. I suppose I'm still not quite used to having a camera, so I didn't have it on me at some crucial times.
Poster competition; mine is the only one you can really see.
The Life Sciences Center during the poster competition. It seemed like every building on the UBC campus was built within the last 10 years, pretty impressive.

Discovered that there is a nude beach about 2 minutes from the UBC campus. Old-men-only policy though.
Some obscenely drunk old guy named Tom at the bar on campus. He told me that offering to take group photos is a great way to attract the ladies. Tom is also featured in the following terrible video from my phone.
I have no idea what is stored in all those boxes, but damn that's a lot of storage.
A few weeks ago I went to Moncton and Shediac for a few days.
These first two photos were taken in Shediac.
On the way home, I stopped at my old neighbourhood where I grew up and lived for the first twelve years of my life. This photo was taken at the park across the street from my house. I spent almost every summer day there and a good deal of my childhood memories involve that park.
I went into the woods and found the tree that I continually used for tree forts as kid, not much left now.
